| Times are changing... and social media is becoming a must...
But you don't want to be out there wasting time being "social"... you want your socializing to pay off!
Everyday someone emails me about how they don't want to be on social media, they don't want a facebook account, or they don't understand twitter.
I get it... but here's the deal.
It's a game changer.
Where else can you put yourself in front of BILLIONS of people without paying a dime?
I often here "I'm shy" or "I'm an introvert"... social media won't work for me.
So am I... and that's why I love social media so MUCH. I don't have to be face to face with anyone. I don't have to interact when I don't want. When I'm worn out and need to recharge and refuel I can just close the window, and go do what I need to do. I don't have to make excuses why I don't want to hang out. I don't have to feel bad about leaving early... I just close the window and go read a book. ;)
Social media is THE best thing that ever happened to the shy and introverted! We get to do things on OUR terms, and when it really comes down to it... you don't know these people, they don't know you, you don't have to face them... so what do you have to lose?
Ok... off my soap box there...
Anyway... there really are some easy ways to make social media payoff. You don't need a huge group of friends and followers, you just need a group that will listen to you.
