Finding New People To Connect to Is Super Important!
Sometimes it feels like we've got a nice little community around us, and we hit a stand still... we have a hard time finding new people to connect with and bring to our blog.
I've been there... and found some ways to get out of the rut.
Here's a few ideas:
Join a new forum and start connecting.
Follow a bunch of new people on twitter and start talking to them.
Join a new facebook group and start connecting with people in the group.
and here's my favorite...
Do a guest post!
When you post on someone else's blog you put yourself in front of their entire audience. It's a GREAT way to quickly and easily bump up your subscribers, and readers.
Today I'm guest blogging over at CEOofMeInc.com. It's a fun story how it happened actually. Misty (the owner of the site) is in a facebook group with me. She posted that she had some questions about Visalus. So I messaged her and we ended up working out a deal for me to guest post on her site and put an ad up on her site as well!
We did a little bartering (since her ad space is paid) and it worked out perfectly! The thing is... I didn't know her. In fact, I'd never read her blog... I met her on a FACEBOOK GROUP!
This is the power of networking on social media... opportunities are everywhere... you just have to get in the mix. :)
So go ahead and check out the post... I'm sharing my view on whether or not blogging has to be a #workrealhardforareallylongtimethenreaptherewards plan... or if you can make money fast with blogging.
Get out there and network! Connect! Guest post! There are people who want to read your blog everywhere! :)
