There are many ways to build your business...
And there are many gurus willing to tell you the "right" and "only" way to build your business.
I spent years trying to do just what they told me to do. Problem was...
I hated it.
I was like this in school too... I did GREAT in the subjects I loved, but found it hard to take action on the things I didn't.
Same here. Yeah, I could force myself to create backlinks to get my ranking up in Google.
For about a week... then it was off to something else.
I stopped blogging for a while because people told me I couldn't build my business that way.
I did 3 way calls for a while even though I would have rather poked my eye out with a hot stick.
But the point is this... your business is a long term endeavor. You're going to have to find a way to build it that you love. Which makes it much easier to stick with it through the hard times.
Even when you find a business or business model you love you'll find there are tons and tons of ways to market and get the word out. Just remember, your way, the way that makes your heart sing, WILL work...
You've just got to get your head in the game and behind you.
One thing I love about network marketing is the serious focus on mindset... internet marketing doesn't seem to have that so much... it's more just get out there and DO IT.
But I KNOW how important mindset is... so while I may love internet marketing and blogging I'm so excited to have been exposed to the mindset piece and be working in a space that values that element as well.
Last night I was talking to a friend and had a huge AHA moment. (yes, they do seem to be coming fast and furious these days lol)
